I had a painting outside to dry and it was laying flat on the table. A bird pooped on the canvas, so I decided to paint a bird on the branch above the poop as I was unable to remove the poop. My friend Becky, suggested that I have fun with this piece. At the time, I had an art studio in the Alton Mill in Elora, ON. We decided that I would paint a bird on the piece each time I went to the studio to paint. Here is the result at the time that I left the Alton Mill. This painting and the story now reside with a friend of mine, who added her own touch, a 3-D structure of a bird. She is able to share the story of the "Bird Poop" painting.
