I've spent much of the nice weather sketching, observing and familiarizing myself with what I have in the studio. As I work to organize the studio I find myself preferring to create. I am using a found drafting table and stool for this studio. This is allowing me to paint side by side, something that has been a challenge in the past.
These works are in the mid process--only a few of the under painting continues to show through. It is very likely all the under paint will be entirely covered at completion. I will work to keep and gain a flowing feeling while adding the detail needed to the rocks and water.
